I am Tamarakare Jane Omukoro, a phygital Fashion Designer and Illustrator with a BA(Hons) from MiddleSex University and MA in Fashion Futures: News Skins and Wearable Technology from Instituto Europeo de Design (IED), Madrid.

At a young age, I knew art would play a major role in my life. I went from scribbling on walls to winning a Student of the Year: Oustanding Creative Talent award in my first year of Fashion school.

This passion led me to further win The Design Project Naija 2022 competition, and subsequently emerge 1st runner up in the Pretty Little Thing x Teyana taylor Design Contest in the same year, where I designed an outfit for her retirement tour.

​

As a young designer who has always seen the world through an artistic lens, I pick inspiration from my rich Nigerian heritage, which is evident in all my work, from Illustration to physical and digital design.

I hope to further explore the world of fashion, while collaborating with masters of their craft and wearing beautiful clothes!
